To produce water for Wanganui city supply.

Drilled & cased 250mm to a depth of 720 metres The top section of bore was cased in 450mm to 65 metres. Lower section of bore was cased in 350mm to 290 metres. Test bore drilled to 760 metres to obtain an accurate bore log of the stratas. The bore was then reamed out for clearance of 250mm casing, which was lowered in place and pressure grouted.

The casing was drilled out into the water bearing strata and the screens were installed and the well bought into production. Final production casing was 250mm to 640 metres, with 80 metres of well screens installed to 720 metres.
